While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and illness . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The bathroom was in even a truly awful state—overflowing , with a shattered handle and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
